Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?

If you're placing the dumpster on your private property (driveway, lawn, etc.), you typically don't need a permit. However, if you need to place the dumpster on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, you'll likely need a permit from your local municipality. Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, but we're happy to provide guidance on the permit process in your area.

Where should I place the dumpster?

Choose a flat, stable surface with enough clearance for our delivery truck (approximately 60 feet of straight-line access). Common locations include driveways, parking areas, or street parking. Make sure the area is free of low-hanging wires, branches, and overhead obstructions. We recommend placing plywood under the dumpster to protect your driveway or pavement.

Will you place a hold on my credit card?

Yes, we place a $300 authorization hold on your credit card for up to 30 days to cover potential additional charges such as overload fees, extra rental days, or prohibited material removal. If no additional charges are incurred during this period, the authorization hold will automatically expire. This is a standard practice to ensure smooth service completion.

Is my delivery date guaranteed?

We make every commercially reasonable effort to deliver and pick up dumpsters on the scheduled dates. However, delivery times may be affected by factors such as weather conditions, traffic, or equipment availability. We'll communicate with you promptly if any delays occur. Please ensure someone is available to direct placement or that you've provided clear placement instructions.
